Event Details

Date: Sunday 7th July 2013

Location: Tunbridge Wells T.A. Centre, St. Johns Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 9UU

Time: 1300 - 1600 (please arrive 15 minutes prior for registration)

Format: Depending on numbers. Initial group format followed by semi-finals and final. Each team will be guaranteed at least 5 matches

Teams: Should have a minimum of 6 players (a minimum of 2 female ideally). We'd recommend a maximum squad of 9.

What you need: Sports kit, or fancy dress. A sense of fair play. Sports drinks. Food.

Facilities on site: Gated parking (free). male/ female changing rooms.

Referees: All of our referees are giving their time for free. Some have even refereed before. All referees will have played the game previously. Please be nice to them. Its human to make mistakes. Please play honestly and walk if you get hit or caught. Verbal or physical abuse of a referee will not be tolerated.
We're all be there on Sunday to have fun.

Timekeeping: Please be ready and prompt for all games. We recommend if your match is next on, you should be court side watching  the previous game finish.

Alcohol: The bar will be open. NO ALCOHOL from outside the venue is allowed. Please be careful with drinks when court side. No drinks allowed on court. Please drink responsibly :-)

Drugs: Lance Armstrong's cameo in the movie has left a cloud over the dodgeball world. No illegal substances will be allowed on-site. Remember, the TA drive armoured vehicles. I'm keen not to upset them.

The Tennis: There is a TV in the bar. We'll show the tennis but please be ready for your games :-)

Smoking: Smoking area on-site. Outside obviously

Valuables: If we ask nicely we can use one of the classrooms to put baggage in. It will be unlocked however, so valuables are stored at the owners risk. If you are bringing a car it might be a good idea to lock them in the boot as parking is off street and gated.

Spectators: Unfortunately, due to the space available at the venue,  when considering the amount of players/ teams attending. We can't encourage spectators too much. We like to encourage people to get involved and play its fun and not too serious.
Also, if you want to watch court-side, you'll probably take one in the face by accident at some point anyway, so you might as well play :-)

Nearest Train Stations: High Brooms and Tunbridge Wells.
If you want to pre-order a taxi we recommend Taylors (my Dad works for them!): 01892 535353
